A few years later, two luxury trains were created: the Transcantábrico Gran Lujo and the Transcantábrico Clásico. The Transcantábrico Clásico became the Costa Verde Express, modelled on the classic trains of the golden age of the Belle Epoque railway, but equipped with modern comfort and technology.
